Challenge
Qeewee set out to make financial education easy and enjoyable. The challenge was to design a user experience that could explain complex financial topics in a way that didn’t feel boring or intimidating. We needed to find the right balance between education and engagement — transforming difficult concepts into content that felt familiar, fun, and scrollable — especially for first-time learners and younger users.
Approach
We designed Qeewee to feel intuitive, casual, and mobile-friendly. Inspired by the way users interact with social media, we introduced a card-based content layout that lets users swipe through topics quickly. To keep learners motivated, we added features like a daily reading timer, a gamified point system, and short-form video explainers. For even more flexibility, audio versions of each module gave users the option to learn hands-free or on the go. These design choices were made to meet learners where they are — on their phones, multitasking, and short on time.
Key Findings
The addition of interactive features like bite-sized videos and reward points in Qeewee’s app increased user engagement by 25%, making financial learning more appealing to a wider audience.
